What's important to us?
Creating a better built environment by being ambitious, open and supportive of one another.
Wellbeing is central to the work we do. Our comprehensive benefits and policies put your wellbeing first, and beyond those we take a personal approach to the physical, mental and emotional health of each member of our team.
We are ambitious with our work, and we invest in your ambitions too. At TFT you’ll be involved with exciting projects, landmark buildings and major client challenges around the UK and Europe. From day one, you’ll be sponsored to learn, practice, and expand your knowledge in the best way for you.
We are industry thought-leaders, contributing guidance on policy and best practice. We research and discuss issues impacting our work, and join with others to improve the outlook for more valuable, resilient and sustainable buildings. Within our team and across our industry we seek to challenge our clients and our peers to build a better future together.
TFT has a network of 12 regional hubs around the UK, with more than 200 people working across a diverse range of client challenges. Our success is the result of a collaborative culture; we work together to achieve. That starts with technology enabling people to work from anywhere, along with a welcoming and sociable culture in each of our offices for colleagues, clients and visitors. It also extends to our charitable efforts, sporting clubs and events, or simply bringing the team together in celebration.
Over the years TFT has supported many communities from local neighbours to professional peers for mental wellbeing, diversity and inclusion, and ensuring the best sustainable impact with our work. As a certified B Corp, we aim to make a positive impact in everything we do, from pro bono work, annual volunteer day, or working closely with our charity partner, LandAid supporting them on their mission to help end youth homelessness.
What does B Corp mean to us?
As we grow, so does our impact on the world. B Corp helps us measure that impact holistically. Getting certified meant assessing the huge impact of our work improving the built environment, but it also accounted for our employee support, social value contributions, supply chain management, environmental footprint and much more.
We’re proud to have our B Corp badge, and we don’t take it for granted: it’s proof that our team aspires to be better and to help our industry do better too.
You can keep up with our journey by reading our B Impact Report and our latest news.
What's the team like?
We value originality, diversity, and confidence in our team, backed up by a collaborative culture for sharing knowledge and supporting one another. We believe this empowers everybody to play their part in delivering high-performing buildings.
With tomorrow's challenges and opportunities clear to see, TFT provides our clients with a passionate, collaborative team who bring the skills and technical insight to meet them.

FAQs
TFT is a place where your work is recognised and rewarded. Our team is structured to give everybody a voice, and you will have a personalised support system in place from the day you begin, covering your career development, health and wellbeing.
Your success is our success too, so we tailor your career development plans for your goals. You’ll work alongside the best specialists in their fields, and you’ll have access to our in-house learning systems, peer-to-peer mentoring, and relationships with RICS, CIBSE and more for professional qualifications.
Progression is based on performance and not time served. With so much knowledge and experience around you, quick progression is yours to achieve.
While we support you to succeed professionally, we are careful to balance our work with the other things that make working life great, like volunteering, taking on sporting challenges, and socialising with your team and with our friends across the industry.
We are here for you in tough times too, ready to help you deal with life’s surprises with full support to work your way. Mental Health & Grief First Aiders across our offices can provide confidential support in moments of crisis, while strong ties to RICS LionHeart (the industry’s mental health charity), can offer support at any time for any need.
Nearly every role at TFT combines office-based working and remote working too. We have offices all around the UK because we believe they are essential for us to connect as a team, so we use them as much as possible, while still providing the scope to work from home, from site, with clients and around travel.
We’ve supported members of our team into alternative roles through training and degree sponsorship. If you’ve got a passion for something new, we can help you too.
If you’re interested in joining us to begin a new career in one of our specialisms, our graduate, trainee and apprenticeship routes could be perfect for you.
We support all graduates and apprentices through their respective Assessment of Professional Competency (APC) programmes, leading you to chartership from day one.
That means a specific training programme for grads, trainees and apprentices to enable you to be the best you can be in your role. You will have every opportunity to excel in the best way for you, and to see the best of your chosen profession.
Graduates and apprenticeships
Our people are the backbone of our business. We are driven by a passion to help our clients by providing the best advice for the diverse sectors we serve.
