David Bassett
David joined TFT’s Building Consultancy team as a Director with nearly 25 years experience, carrying out a wide range of work for Clients such as Aviva Investors, M&G Real Estate, Amazon and Knight Frank Investment Management (KFIM) within the commercial sectors including industrial, retail and offices.
David has extensive experience in managing refurbishment projects ranging in value up to £3.5million. He has provided technical due diligence advice to many clients and has undertaken Building Surveys on a wide range of properties including retail parks, shopping centres, data centres, logistics warehouses, industrial estates and property portfolios. David also has extensive experience in dealing with Dilapidations matters and has acted for both Landlords and Tenants in relation to claims ranging up to £3million.
He also has acted on behalf of funders and investors in monitoring development works for a number of multi-million pound schemes.
Hello.
When I am not in the office I enjoy being outside and enjoy running, walking and gardening. I am very fortunate that I live with my wife on the outskirts of Southampton, so have the South Downs and New Forest National Parks on my doorstep as well as access to some of the country’s most beautiful rivers and beaches. We have three dogs and they are very much the centre of everything we do and we are never far from a cold nose or a muddy paw!
