A new last-mile logistics hub has been given the green light to replace a former industrial facility at the end of its functional life.

TFT is providing project management, sustainability and neighbourly matters support for V7 and CBRE Investment Management to deliver a 36,000sqft industrial and logistics facility near Wandsworth in London.

The new building will offer high quality, flexible accommodation for its users. Modern office space, a secure service yard, renewable energy provision and improvements on urban greening, biodiversity and a targeted BREEAM Outstanding rating all set this development apart.

Zak Veasey, director at V7, said:

“This asset is situated in a prime location. Once upgraded to the highest modern standards, 20 Lydden Road will meet the evolving commercial demands of the area and align with the requirements of occupiers and businesses, delivering a best-in-class facility. V7 in collaboration with TFT, assembled an experienced professional team to design and deliver state-of-the-art facility that meets the council’s LSIA aspirations. It is testament to the design team that the application had no objections from the local community and is approved ready to build once the tenant vacates.”
