The Westin Vendome Hotel

The 428 bedroom Westin 5 star hotel occupies a whole city block in the prestigious and fashionable 1st Arrondissement, overlooking the Tuileries Gardens.

It opened as the Hotel Continental in 1878 and is very ornate, with many gilded salons and decorative details. Our specialists provided an RCA some years ago and recently updated that to reflect an extensive refurbishment and modernisation programme by the owners and operators. The hotel now includes a spa, reconfigured suites, upgraded furnishings and equipment in the rooms and full wifi facilities.

The unique features demanded that we assess the insurance reinstatement cost by elemental analysis and not by the more usual cost/m² rates that might apply to modern or simple buildings.
